Istanbul European Side: TOP Areas for Real Estate Investment
Vast Istanbul! A unique city situated on two continents — Europe and Asia, at the crossroads of major trade routes. Here, different historical epochs intersected, each leaving its mark on Istanbul.
At first glance, Istanbul shocks those who wish to move here with its diversity. Finding one's place in the vast, boundless metropolis is not easy. But Istanbul's diversity is its feature and trump card. Here, everyone will find their optimal district; they are all different.
The most prestigious districts of European Istanbul overlook the Bosphorus, or the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara or the Black Sea from different sides. The European part of Istanbul is also divided into two parts by the Golden Horn bay. There are districts inside the continent, without access to water, but with excellent infrastructure for living.
Shishli
An expensive and prestigious district, adjacent to Beyoglu and Sariyer, located near the Bosphorus Strait. Here, the creative and business elite resides. The development of Shishli is like a competition of different civilizations; old houses with tiled roofs stand out against the backdrop of isolated skyscrapers.
Shishli is a lucrative area for major investments. A dozen interesting projects are currently being built here on priceless land, and they are all unique. The most interesting projects are near the Bosphorus, a huge park, and the Tuprash stadium, in the heart of Istanbul.
Kagithane
The district is located beyond Shishli, even further from the Bosphorus but has access to the Golden Horn bay. It is close to the historical center, which gives it special value. It is an excellent district for those who need proximity to the center; comfortable real estate in Istanbul is cheaper here than in the very center. Kaiıthane has four metro stations, a shopping center, a university, and several schools. Forests adorn the northern border of the district.
Besiktas
The district stretches along the Bosphorus. It is often chosen for living and even more often for investments. Many properties are being built here, the choice of projects is impressive, and unusual skyscrapers coexist with majestic mosques and palaces. Unfortunately, there is no metro in Besiktas. But the pulse of business activity and creative life in Istanbul beats loudly here.
Sariyer
Another district suitable for buying property in Istanbul for living, including luxury villas with pools. One of the largest and most prestigious, it is inhabited by the elite. Sariyer is spread along the shores of both the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, surrounded by forests and large parks. It is one of the greenest and most picturesque districts of Istanbul.
Kucukcekmece
A prestigious western suburb of Istanbul on the shore of a large lake. The district is actively developed, looks modern, and has prospects for infrastructure development. There are many large projects for those who want to live in residences with hotel-like amenities—pools, parks, recreation areas, large closed courtyards. Kucukcekmece has great potential for construction and large free land plots.
Basaksehir
Another district located far from the center with active development. There is room for developers to expand here. Prices allow for advantageous real estate purchases with good infrastructure, recreational areas, large spaces, and family-friendly layouts.
Basaksehir is home to two stadiums, several hospitals, shopping centers including the Mall of Istanbul, many schools, and universities. And importantly for real estate purchases, a dozen metro stations cover this district.
Beyoglu
The district is located in the most vibrant part of Istanbul, stretching along the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus. Beyoğlu has many historical buildings and embassies. Here is the famous Taksim Square. The streets resemble European ones. One of the most grandiose projects, the Terzane project, is being built on the site of an ancient shipyard—a truly unique project.
Bakirkoy
An old district of Istanbul on the shores of the Sea of Marmara. Many shops and boutiques attract tourists and residents of Istanbul. Atatürk Airport is located here. The district is crossed by the metro, railway, tram line, and the E5 highway. Excellent transportation accessibility and proximity to the center are the reasons for the popularity of real estate in Bakirkoy. There are many elite residential complexes with views of the Sea of Marmara, even on the first line.
Beylikduzu
A large residential district with active development. There is not much historical value in Beylikduzu development; it is more of a location for modern residential construction. Numerous high-rise quarters intersect with roads. Living is comfortable, although there is a lack of metro and various types of transportation. There are many schools and hospitals, parks, and a beach on the shores of the Sea of Marmara near West Istanbul Marina.
In Beylikduzu, you can find apartments or villas with views of the Sea of Marmara for yourself. And near your luxurious home, you can moor your favorite yacht. Beylikduzu offers an abundance of real estate project choices.
