Thus, it is possible for individuals to make their payments by going to the municipality where the real estate owned is located. If there is not any time or opportunity to go to the municipality, then transactions can be carried out remotely.
It is possible to use the real estate taxpayer number and to carry out the transfer transactions through the PTT (Turkish Post) in order to make the payments without going to the municipality. An easier way is to pay is with credit card by entering the e-municipality system of the relevant municipality using your R.T. identity number or registration number. Calculation of real estate tax is an obligation that must be fulfilled by all citizens who own immovable property, regardless of income level.
